The Lancaster Fountain Pen has antique brass trim which complements the satin floral design of the pen finishing off the pen with the fiery Red Rose emblem on the top disc.The red rose wasfirst used as an emblem by Edmund, son of Henry III, in August 1265. The last Lancaster king was Henry VI, crowned at just 8 months old, he was not a popular King after marrying a French Queen. He was also known as the Mad King!
