Bethlehem Olive wood pen

Quality handmade wooden ballpoint twist pen handmade in Olive wood from Bethlehem. The pen features Antique Bronze coloured fittings. Each pen will vary as no two pieces of wood are quite the same.

This is a beautiful handmade quality pen, the comfortable shape in the hand is complemented by the wonderful natural feel and warmth of the wood with a traditional wax finish.

The Olive tree is slow growing and can live for many years. At the age of around 200 years new shoots develop at the base of the trunk and eventually grow into a new tree, hence the olive tree is known as the “immortal tree”.

These very rare olive wood blanks are produced from the trimmings of the olive trees in the Holy Land. An essential process for a healthier growth for the trees. No Tree is damaged or destroyed in the process of harvesting this wood.

The pen accepts standard Parker type refills which are widely available. It will be shipped in the environmental friendly card case as pictured.

All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
