Fever Pitch is a 2 player card game for football fans!

It is a fast moving football card game which mimics the ebb and flow of a real football match! So, just like football, with all the excitement but less of the physical exertion. And you can play in your living room or down the pub. Wearing team colours is optional.

In essence, Fever Pitch is a fast passed action and counter-action card game. You build up an attack on goal by laying combinations of pass and dribble cards. If you play 2 passes in succession you are able to lay a shoot card (if you have one in your hand.)

But, every time you play an attacking build up card, you could see a tackle card flying in from your opponent which would switch you from attacking to defending.

The game ebbs and flows with passes and tackles, shots and saves with a few wild cards thrown in for good measure. Expect dubious ref decisions, penalties, 30-yard strikes, wonder goals, near misses and spectacular saves!

Each card played represents a minute off the clock (up to 96 cards or 96 minutes) and the next goal card could be the WINNER and the tension is mounting to a… FEVER PITCH!!

The game is split into 2 packs of 48 cards. The Sunday League pack is a basic intro version to get a feel for the game mechanics and then the PRO deck can be shuffled in to add all the wildcards giving you the 96 cards for a full match.
