About Fisher Shuttle Space Pen – Chrome Commemorative Edition

The Fisher Chrome Commemorative Edition Shuttle Space Pen is based on the original Fisher Space Pen that was used on the Apollo 7 space mission in 1968 after 2 years of testing by NASA and has been used on all manned space flights since then. Thepen is made from solid brass with a hard chrome plated finish with gold coloured fittings and is fully retractable.

Manufactured in Nevada, USA, this pen is produced to exacting standards and utilises Fisher’s tungsten carbide ballpoint and patented visco-elastic ink in a pressurised cartridge. As a result, the Fisher Space Pen can write in the most demanding environments:
