Constructed with a combination of dyed powdered stone and acrylic resins, these faux-stone pen blanks resemble the appearance of real stone. The blank features a vibrant opaque green color with subtle black accents, making it suitable for advanced turners. Please note that the specific shade of green may vary, ranging from dark Christmas green to a slightly lighter hue.

Turning Tip:Faux stone is dense, so the tool needs to be sharp. It can be turned with a roughing gouge, skew, or carbide tools (please watch our video showing these tools in use). Because it is stone, it is porous, so you may want to complete it with a thin CA finish (I recommend 2-3 coats of thin and one or two coats of medium.)
