The origin of Caran dAche’s FIXPENCIL dates back to 1929, when it was first created by a Geneva-based engineer. A year later, Caran dAche launched it and it quickly gained worldwide popularity. This 2mm pencil features a clutch mechanism, a built-in sharpener, and the same hexagonal body design as the Caran dAche 849 Ballpoint Pen.
