In 2022, Montblanc honors one of the most celebrated musicians of the 20th century who is widely regarded as one of the most influential electric guitarists in the history of popular music: Jimi Hendrix. Made from precious resin, the off-white color of the cap and its engraved pattern is inspired by one of the guitar straps worn by Hendrix, while the black barrel features an elegant pattern resembling a WAH pedal. The platinum-coated clip is angled to resemble the vibrato bar of an electric guitar. The Montblanc emblem on the cap top is made from precious resin.
