Many luxury goods brands also make pens. But Montblanc is different – they’ve been a pen company all through their history. While they have expanded their range, making beautiful watches, notebooks, leather goods, and travel accessories, writing instruments are still at their core. They are one of the many pen companies who has moved the piston filling system forward over the years, and they created what we now think of as ‘standard’ ink cartridges. The Origin Collection celebrates 100 years of Montblanc Meisterstck and features a range of pens, inks, and notebooks to celebrate the occasion.

This 149 fountain pen is expertly crafted from black precious resin. The cap features a subtle wave pattern, inspired by early designs, which represents the dissolution of ink onto paper. The cap also features the original Meisterstck logo, and its platinum-plated cap ring is engraved with the years 1924 and 2024. The pocket clip is an homage to early clip shapes found on some of the first Meisterstcks.

Fitted with a rhodium-plated 18 carat solid gold nib in medium only, engraved with the number 100 and also the years 1924 and 2024.
